The platter itself is conductive, suppressing static electricity. A unique sound field can be obtained by listening to a record directly on the platter without using a turntable sheet.
A non-contact bearing is used in the rotating section from the platter to the shaft by means of a permanent magnet, which is in contact with only one sphere at the lowest point. Magnetic repulsion maintains a constant spacing around the bearing, enabling quiet, sustained rotational motion without bearing noise.
The arm retainer is shielded by an anti-vibration material so that external vibration does not affet the arm. Various measures are taken to extract only the pure sound groove information.
