Pros – ribbon-planar system with bass from 18 Hz – simply fantastic
The top model of the Alsyvox is made only to order and combines six radiating panels (three for each of the stereo channels). You will not find traditional dynamic drivers here - ribbon-planar in the configuration of 2 x 45 mm wide midranges, 2 x 25 wide tweeters, and 9 mm wide super tweeter on one panel and a pair of also ribbon-planar 320 mm wide subwoofers on two separate panels are used. With the height of the speakers at 2,030 mm, this provides a gigantic radiating surface of 10,752 cm2 only for the LF module and, with a planar stroke length of 20 mm, guarantees bass from 18 Hz - something that similar technologies have not previously offered. The 390 kg system ultimately requires at least bi-amping and tri-amping for best results, and high sensitivity (97 dB) suggests exceptional flexibility in selecting amplification. The Alsyvox MICHELANGELO sound incredibly attractive and stun with the amount of detail.

Pros – innovative compression driver and genuine sound scope
Klipsch Jubilee is essentially the realization of the dream and legacy of the founder (Paul Wilbur Klipsch) of the great American company. Combining advanced technologies and a classic approach, the acoustics easily form full-scale sound images and achieve magical realism during playback. The cabinet with a large horn increases the efficiency of the system by 10–20% compared to conventional speakers. Another innovation is the K-693 7” titanium diaphragm compression driver with 5” voice coil, which provides a wide bandwidth, eliminating the need to use a dedicated midrange driver. The Axiperiodic design provides a smooth response, maximizing performance and minimizing distortion. The tweeter is complemented by a pair of 12” K-283 12” Fiber-Composite cone LF drivers. Klipsch Jubilee is equipped with an active crossover (DSP) and allows adjustment of both phase and time delay. With a record sensitivity of 107-110 dB, the speakers are easily connected to any low-power amplification, and many manufacturers will envy the bass from 18 Hz.

Pros – M-Array configuration of midrange and high-frequency drivers grabs the stars from the sky
Innovative, both externally and internally, the speakers are essentially an attempt to rethink the modern approach to the design of sound reproduction equipment. The heart of the Monitor Audio Hyphn is the unique M-Array configuration features a single MPD III Transducer (Micro Pleated Diaphragm) surrounded by 6 x 2” RDT III dedicated midrange drivers. The tweeter provides an exceptionally flat frequency band, and the midrange with piston-like control guarantees minimal distortion even at high sound division and exceptional timbre fidelity. Bass is provided by 4 x 8" RDT III woofers - so, with an error of 6 dB, the reproduced frequency starts from 18 Hz, while the loudspeakers allow the supply of 1.6 kW (!) of power - and their sound character resembles a steel fist in a velvet glove. Maximum peak SPL of 129 dB is also impressive.

Pros – unique BilletCore speakers and an exceptionally flexible configuration
The highlight of all YG Acoustics speakers is the unique BilletCore drivers, the aluminum diaphragms of which are made by milling a solid aluminum billet. This approach guarantees ideal diffuser rigidity, unattainable with conventional speaker manufacturing technologies. The loudspeaker cabinets, again made of aluminum, perfectly dampen resonances. The YG Acoustics XX 3 model operates in the range from 20 to 40,000 Hz and can be designed as an active (equipped with Bel Canto Design amplifiers for 5.6 kW per loudspeaker, supplemented by digital-to-analog converters and a DSP-based crossover) or a passive version. Lattice hybrid tweeter with advanced airframe, 2 x 6” BilletCore drivers with neodymium motor magnets, 3 x 7.25” BilletCore drivers, and 2 x 11” BilletCore woofers provide incredible dynamics and musicality.

Pros – the synthesis of innovative Tidal technologies has become a little more affordable
The idea of the new Tidal Audio AP1 model was born with the launch of the TIDAL x Bugatti project. In order to transfer these technologies from the Ultra High-End to the High-End segment, Tidal Audio AP1, fully active extra-class speakers in the “plug-and-play” scheme, were developed. Four subwoofer drivers with long-stroke diffusers are responsible for the low-frequency range, each of which operates in its own frequency range. They are combined with four dynamic drivers - a pair of long-throw woofers, a midrange driver and a tweeter with a diamond dome. All drivers are mounted in a closed cabinet made of the latest generation of the company's patented TIRALIT material. Tidal Audio AP1 uses a unique hybrid amplification system that combines different amplification technologies for each frequency range. At the same time, each amplification channel remains 100% analog - and the model does not use DSP processors or equalization.

Pros – Zirconium baskets, iron-free magnet systems and a completely transparent soundstage
When designing the M-series loudspeakers, the main goal of Børresen engineers and designers was to challenge existing technological limitations. This resulted in drivers with 3D-printed zirconium baskets, which provide maximum rigidity and minimal vibration and resonance. The diffusers of the Børresen M-series midrange and woofers are designed to provide maximum rigidity with minimal distortion – the result is a diffuser consisting of four layers laminated together: two layers of carbon fiber, a layer of aramid honeycomb spacers in between and a titanium layer with Ansuz Supreme coating. Børresen uses drivers with iron-free magnet systems in all its loudspeakers, with an inductance that is approximately ten times lower than that of conventional drivers. This exceptionally low inductance has now been reduced even further to an unprecedented level, i.e. approximately twelve times lower than that of conventional iron-core drivers. The RP94 ribbon planar tweeter used in the Børresen M2 loudspeakers has the extremely low mass moving membrane (0.01 grams). All in all, this is a textbook example of innovative design and a treasure trove of innovations.

Pros – ion tweeter and 4 x 15" woofers provide an open window effect into the world of perfect sound
The 300-kilogram Acapella Hyperion plays in the frequency range from 16 Hz to 40,000 Hz – and with a sensitivity of 96 dB and an impedance of 8 ohms, they seem light enough to amplify. Thanks to the specially designed 15” woofers for deep bass, 780 hyper-spherical horn unit for midrange frequencies with a 2.5” dome and the beloved Acapella Ionenhochtöner TW 1-S ion tweeter with a frequency response of more than 11 octaves. By any standards, it is difficult to make even one complaint about the sound of the Acapella Hyperion – the speakers provide explosive dynamics, perfect black tone and crystal clear high frequencies. Vocals simply blossom with all the emotions, and a large symphony orchestra literally materializes in front of you.
