The model is equipped with a balanced XLR input and an unbalanced RCA input, which is duplicated by a similar RCA output. On the back panel there is a slider selector switch that allows you to select the desired pair of connectors (RCA or XLR), as well as switches for selecting one of the gain values (25 dB or 31 dB) and for activating one of the operating modes: stereo, bridge mode or "dual mono".
The Arcam PA720 is a seven—channel power amplifier from the proprietary HDA series. It works in class G, outputs 7 x 140 watts, 5 x 175 watts or 2 x 225 watts, while the first 20 watts of the device works in pure class A.
