A passive radiator is used in the column design, which allows this model to be mounted in a wall, as well as to use it in a vertical or horizontal orientation. In addition, the company used completely new drivers.
In this model, the developers used new low-frequency speakers made of paper and coconut fiber, which were created after careful research. They are complemented by a new tweeter with a soft dome. All this fits in a compact housing with a wall thickness of 18 mm.
Each speaker in the AE1 model is powered by its own 50-watt Class A/B amplifier (4×50 watts per pair). The proprietary aluminum midrange/woofer is a modification of the 125mm AE1 Classic driver.
The high-quality sound in the AE100 is mainly achieved through the use of a 130mm midbase paper speaker built on a heavy-duty high-stroke motor system.
The Acoustic Energy AE300 model has received a solid, acoustically inert small housing made of MDF panels eighteen millimeters thick. A special high-performance proprietary technology is used for damping.
