Vox Palladian is a lightweight version of the flagship Vox Olympian. Slightly smaller, with a different supertiter and in a more democratic finish. The mouthpiece of the tweeter is decorated with a noble patina, and the super tweeter is not a slotted radiator, but a completely new speaker created by Vitavox exclusively for Living Voice.
In the Living Voice Vox Olympian horn speakers, almost everything is handmade in England, with the exception of the Japanese tweeter and super tweeter, as well as the silver Kondo KSL-SPz internal wiring cable. There is not a single parallel plane in the two-meter-long bass horn. The cabinets are made of solid oak, beech, wenge and maple. The upgraded Vitavox 300 Hz scattering horn is responsible for reproducing the medium frequencies here.
The Living Voice R80 design is based on the elliptical Scan-Speak tweeter and a pair of 8" drivers with an elliptical coil and is designed to work with vacuum tube single-ended triode amplifiers (sensitivity is 92 dB). As in all Living Voice speakers, the precision crossover components are located in a separate external unit.
