Lilium continues the Aida musical tradition: the same new high-speed 29 mm tweeter with a soft dome DAD, a new midrange and a new midrange having a size of 180 mm (diameter equal to the diameter of the basket for better "fusion" of the relative spectrum).
The leather-trimmed front panel has a built-in unit with a 28 mm tweeter and a 180 mm midrange driver. The tweeter is equipped with a neodymium magnet and an antiresonance chamber made of wood, designed as an "acoustic maze", has a silk dome and uses the "Arrow Point" DAD technology.
The Sonus Faber Aida walnut floorstanding loudspeakers are presented with a certain bias, and this form allows you to get the most out of listening to your favorite track. Speakers can be installed in the corners of the room, from where their speakers will emit clear, high-quality sound without distortion.
The loudspeaker housings in the Olympic Nova series are made of eight layers of profiled and bent plywood, the top panel is made of solid walnut or wenge in a metal frame, which ensures maximum rigidity of the body. Inside the case, stiffeners are neatly arranged, used to strengthen the structure to reduce vibration and to mount the speakers more securely when a high-power signal is applied.
The model features a 28mm silk H28 X TR 3 soft dome tweeter that uses DEAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology. This technology increases the softness of sound at high frequencies by applying local damping at the top of the membrane — it is the top of the membrane that is usually the source of antiphase distortion in a soft dome speaker.
