The Reference Ultime Passive external woofer filter is identical in configuration to the active model. The acoustic design made of aluminum with integrated six separate closed chambers for radiators has not changed — the engineers have done everything possible to "speak" only the speakers, and the case is silent.
The case is made in a typical Steinheim manner. It uses solid aluminum panels over a critically rigid internal chassis, CNC machined from a solid aluminum billet. The sheer amount of aluminum used is impressive, ensuring that these cabinets are sound inert and won't sag no matter how loud the music is. Under the sleek exterior panels, each speaker is mounted in a separate camera to minimize interference from others.
Alumine Five is a top–of-the-line speaker for a large home system. The versatility of the Steinheim opens up space for a variety of configurations of such a setup, depending on the gain. CH Precision will give the system style and restrained nobility of sound, Air Tight will help to "set the jazz", and the reinforcement of Constellation or Playback Design will turn your apartment into a kind of recording studio – the music on Stenheim will sound so transparent and detailed.
The Aluminum Three speakers received an aluminum cabinet, with a more compact body, in particular, providing a reduced price for the new product. In total, two 8-inch woofers, one 5.25-inch midrange and an inch tweeter, both with neodymium magnets, are capable of receiving up to 300 watts of peak power.
Alumine Two.The Five is compatible with almost any power amplifier and is capable of producing high-quality sound even when working in tandem with a low-power system.
