CD-transport TEAC PD-505T of the Reference 500 series, released for the 70th anniversary of the company. Based on the original CD drive used in the CD-5020A player, which has been installed in professional products for many years, a new design optimized for the PD-505T has been developed. Using a semi-floating mount and a new drive circuit, it was possible to achieve more accurate reading of CDs and maintain a high level of purity of audio signals.
The VRDS-701T CD transport uses a newly developed VRDS mechanism. VRDS is a proprietary CD drive mechanism that reduces unwanted vibrations by pressing the CD against an aluminum support disc of the same diameter to maximize the moment of inertia.
The TEAC VRDS-701 CD player was released in honor of the 70th anniversary of the founding of TEAC and embodies the strengths of the brand, as well as implements a number of innovations, including the newly developed VRDS mechanism.
