The Rega Planar 3 player with RB-330 tonearm and Rega Elys 2 pickup. It took the development team led by permanent Roy Gandhi 2 years to create the Rega Planar 3 model. The player replaced the iconic turntable of the previous generation SRP3, which received many awards from well-known publications reviewing Hi-Fi equipment.

Roy Gandhi and his developers decided early on that instead of evolving the previous RP8, the new Planar 8 should be designed and engineered to fully match the Naiad concept, but at an affordable price. The goal was to achieve a level of vinyl disc reproduction that would be much higher than the previous one for a similar price.

Each design element here serves to extract the maximum amount of information and details from your vinyl collection.
