The Rega Planar 3 RS Edition is made using a special high-pressure laminate (HPL), which is usually used in the senior models of Rega players - Planar 6, Planar 8 and Planar 10. The rigidity of the structure with this approach is significantly improved - as a result, the sound quality has also increased. The Rega Planar 3 RS Edition vinyl turntable is finished in matte aluminum, and the base has a black piano lacquer edging. A stylish dust cover is also included.
The Rega Planar 3 RS Edition (Rega Special) turntable comes with a Rega RB330 tonearm, a Rega Neo PSU MK2 external power supply and a factory-fitted Rega Nd5 moving magnet (MM) cartridge.
