In honor of the company's 45th anniversary, Clearaudio released the Clearaudio Diamond Jubilee MC cartridge – the model will go on sale for 25,000 euros (at the same time becoming the most expensive branded cartridge), and only 45 cartridges will be realised.
The ultra-premium MC cartridge is equipped with a zirconium oxide body, coils wound with 24-karat gold wire, a boron cantilever and a Clearaudio Prime Line PLUS diamond needle. The choice of zirconium oxide is not accidental – the ceramic material, from which dental implants or dental crowns are usually made, allows for manufacturing accuracy of up to 0.001 mm, which ensures ideal control of resonances and unwanted vibrations. The Clearaudio Diamond Jubilee MC is based on the solutions implemented in the Clearaudio Goldfinger Statement V2.1 cartridge from.
The new product is equipped with 24-karat gold coils, and the system also has an shielding system that eliminates interference. Clearaudio also emphasizes the optimized placement of powerful neodymium magnets and modified coil geometry, which ensures a dynamic presentation. With channel separation of more than 35 dB and channel balance deviation of less than 0.15 dB, the Diamond Jubilee MC easily grabs the stars in the sky in terms of engineering excellence - we are looking forward to hearing this cartridge.
