Luxman D-03R – New CD Player With External DSD-DAC Function

21.02.2025 08:19 | ~1 minute read

A new CD player Luxman D-03R has been announced – the model will replace the previous version D-03X. Luxman D-03R can work both as a disc player and as an external digital-to-analog converter – the heart of the device is High-End ROHM DB34352EKV chips in a dual mono configuration.

Luxman D-03R can work with signals up to PCM up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to 22.5 MHz. The MQA format is supported, including MQA-CD. The Trinity transport mechanism with a 3.2 mm steel base and an offset center of gravity reliably dampens vibrations and provides excellent mechanical stability of the drive.

On the front panel of the device there is an OLED display of considerable clarity with a four-stage dimmer, with which you can control the playback parameters.

The power supply is, of course, large-sized with a 6,600 mF capacitor unit. The device comes with a high-quality branded power cable Luxman JPA-100000i and an aluminum remote control.
