Thieaudio has introduced the new Valhalla in-ear headphones with 19 drivers per ear – according to the developers, the development of the model took more than two years.
The Thieaudio Valhalla in-ear headphones use carefully selected components from market leaders Knowles and Sonion. Each earphone is equipped with four Sonion 38D1XJ007 woofers, ten Sonion E50DT0005 low-frequency drivers, four Knowles RDE 33729 mid/high frequencies and one Knowles WBFK 30095 ultra-high frequency driver.
The Thieaudio Valhalla headphones feature the PBS (Precision Bass System, which combines several low-frequency drivers into a specially designed resonance chamber), providing a sense of the presence of a subwoofer, reproducing notes from 5 Hz.
A four-way passive crossover combined with a system of acoustic tubes provides precise frequency distribution and a smooth response across the entire operating range. Unlike typical 1st order crossovers, Thieaudio Valhalla uses multiple 2nd order filters to ensure high accuracy.
The Valhalla headphones come with Thieaudio's flagship EliteNoir cable, which is a combination of silver-plated LCOFC 5N and 4N wires with Smoke Black-Blue soft PVC insulation. The construction includes 161 individual wires, 20AWG specification and Mundorf Supreme soldering, ensuring lossless signal transmission. Thieaudio Valhalla in-ear headphones are available now for a suggested retail price of $1,999.

Accuphase has introduced the Accuphase C-57 phono preamplifier, based on a fully balanced circuit design from output to input with dual mono topology. The Accuphase C-57 also uses a two-stage solution: the first stage is the output stage to ensure matching with MM and MC cartridges, the second stage is the correction amplifier itself.
Last year, Goldmund launched the impressive Goldmund Rhea and Theia acoustics in active versions with a wireless streamer. The all-in-one solution certainly looked brilliant, but High-End fans often prefer component systems. So now the company has introduced the Goldmund Rhea and Theia loudspeakers in a Passive version.
Stratton Acoustics has introduced two models of compact bookshelf loudspeakers – Element 6 and Element 8. Both speakers use the company’s patented soft dome tweeters with a diameter of 29 mm, equipped with a waveguide to provide wide sound dispersion. The models are hand-assembled at the company’s own factory in England.
The SMSL company presented the SMSL VMV A1 Pro power amplifier - using lnfineon's latest GaN FET transistors, with a switching frequency of up to 1 MHz. Such unique circuitry guarantees, according to the company, absolutely natural sound and up to 400 W of output power.
Treehaus Audiolab has announced the Treehaus Audiolab LCR Phono reference vacuum tube phono preamplifier. To equalize the signal, the device uses only passive components: inductors (L), capacitors (C) and resistors (R).
