Cyrus Audio
The Cyprus Classic Phono switching arsenal allows you to simultaneously connect up to four turntables or tonearms and easily switch between them. For each input, you can set the type of pickup head MM or MC, gain, as well as resistance and capacitance. All settings are saved in memory for future reference.
Michell Engineering
The Michell Apollo phono preamplifier is capable of working with both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges. The phonostage has a wide range of adjustment options using switches built into the base of the housing. A precision passive RIAA equalization circuit combined with Class A amplification for all amplification stages ensures accurate signal processing.
Vitus Audio
Danish company Vitus Audio has introduced a phono preamp with an external power supply unit Vitus Audio MP-P201 Mk.III, which is distinguished by an extremely low noise level. The working frequency range of the new product is many times wider than that of any pickup head, so Vitus Audio MP-P201 Mk.III will never become a bottleneck in a stereo system.
HSE Swiss Audio
The HSE Swiss Reference line 7 (RL-7) phono preamplifier is the little brother of the award-winning HSE Masterline 7. The new device combines the functionality of a phono preamplifier and a preamplifier with an adjustable headphone output and a master volume control.
Grimm Audio
The Grimm Audio PW1 phono preamplifier was first shown at High End Munich 2024 and Dutch Audio Event 2024, and is now available for purchase. Grimm Audio is best known for its digital components, but the PW1 is a fully analog device and, according to the developers, is “the perfect companion for the MU2, LS1 or any other audio system of your choice.”
European Audio Team (EAT)
The EAT E-Glo 2 phono preamplifier is equipped with four ECC83 tubes and two ECC88 tubes. According to the manufacturer, the user can experiment with different compatible tubes, achieving a sound that matches his tastes to the maximum extent. The EAT E-Glo 2 phono preamplifier has a fully balanced input stage with a Lundahl LL1932 step-up transformer for the MC input. The transformer provides a gain of 45 dB, sufficient for working with moving coil (MC) heads. The equalization stage here is completely passive.
Musical Fidelity
The Musical Fidelity M8x Vinyl is made in a fully balanced circuit with discrete components. It uses a printed circuit board three times larger, on which there are placed twice as many discrete components. The amplification path now has a three-stage design, offering more gain with significantly less noise. The phonopreamplifier level now varies from 40 to 69 dB, which is suitable for a variety of cartridges, providing the necessary flexibility even when mating with complex cartridges.
Kondo Audio Note Japan
Kondo Audio Note Japan has introduced the new GE-7i vacuum tube phono preamplifier. The manufacturer emphasizes that the new product is neither a simplified version of the GE-10 model, nor an improved version of the GE-1 phono preamplifier, but offers its own new solution in the field of ultimate correction of the signal from a vinyl record. In the NF type equalization circuit, the SRPP input stage is implemented on the ECC803S tube.
