Trafomatic Audio
Trafomatic Audio Evolution Phono One is a phono corrector with a gain of 40 dB (MM), 64 dB (MC), separate inputs for MM and MC type heads, adjustable input impedance for MC pickups (10, 20, 50, 100 ohms) and an input impedance of 47 kOhm for MM type heads. For MM/MC type pickups. This model is designed using Burr-Brown OPA2134 operational amplifiers (two per channel), which provide music playback via an analog output.
Trafomatic Audio
The circuit uses four C3GSE triode lamps, two interstage and two output transformers, and an LL1941 step-up transformer for the MC input. The power supply is external, with a toroidal power transformer with small scattering fields and a smoothing filter based on chokes and electrolytic capacitors Mundorf MLytic HV.
Unison Research
The phono corrector section allows you to adjust the input capacitance for MM cartridges (100, 200, 320 and 420 pF with an impedance of 47 kOhm), fixed gain – 38 dB. Gain switching (58 or 69 dB) as well as impedance is available for MC pickups. (5, 10, 25, 100, 250, 500 Ohms, 1 kOhm). There is a switchable roar filter. In the phono corrector mode, two outputs are available – fixed and adjustable.
Vincent
The Vincent PHO-500 phono corrector is designed to "apply RIAA correction to the recording and transmit the signal to the system with minimal distortion." The main "prerequisite" for low-noise operation of the device was the power supply. The Vincent PHO-500 has a separate power supply so that electromagnetic fields cannot affect the phono corrector.
Vincent
The Vincent Audio PHO-300 phono corrector is capable of working with pickup heads with both a movable magnet (MM) and a movable coil (MC). The head type is switched by a button on the front panel of the component. The phono corrector has a good signal—to-noise ratio of less than 83 dB for MM heads and less than 70 dB for MS cartridges.
Vitus Audio
The SP-103 features a modular design that makes it easy to perform future upgrades. An external power supply is also provided, which significantly reduces the noise level in the signal circuit. For this iteration, Vitus Audio took everything they learned and developed for the MP-P201 MkII and optimized the technology to fit a smaller body.
Treehaus Audiolab
The LCR Phono preamplifier uses only passive components: inductors (L), capacitors (C) and resistors (R). Although this is a more complex method, the unique design characteristics and performance of the LCR Phono make the effort worthwhile. Only the inductors are in the signal path; the capacitors and resistors are used in parallel circuits. This means the audio signal passes through fewer components and maintains a higher level of purity.
Lamm Industries
Three-block phono corrector-preamp Lamm LP1. Dual mono tube preamp with two separate neutral power sources equipped with full-wave vacuum rectifiers, choke filters, high-voltage vacuum lamp regulators, solid-state analog non-switchable low voltage regulators used as heater power sources. Lamp set: two-6C3P (6C3P), two-6C45P (6C45P) and (phono corrector); four-12AX3/12 BE3, two-6C19P (6C19P), two-6AK5, two-5651A (power supply).
Lamm Industries
A tube phono corrector, assembled according to the principle of double mono. RIAA correction is passive, on high–quality elements with minimal tolerances. There is no general negative feedback. The amplification stages are based on unique 417A/5842 lamps manufactured by Western Electric, which have high steepness characteristics.
