HSE Swiss Audio RL-7 - Swiss Army Knife for Vinyl

25.12.2024 06:21 | ~1 minute read

According to the company, the HSE Swiss Audio RL-7 is designed for a service life of at least 30 years. The new product uses only high-quality Swiss hand-made components. The RL-7 is based on the same zero-resistance class A operational amplifiers with an ultra-low noise level as the top-line ML-7 model. This guarantees the best possible audio characteristics and a minimum noise level.

The HSE Swiss Audio Reference line 7 phono preamplifier is made in a two-block concept with an external power supply. Hand-selected ALPS Blue Velvet series variable resistors are used as rotary controls. All important electronic components are hand-selected and matched with a deviation of no more than 0.1%. To achieve the most uncompromising sound, only the best components in the industry from ELMA, Goldpoint, NKK, Panasonic, WIMA, Neutrik, Schurter and ALPS are used. The power supply has a powerful toroidal transformer with static and magnetic shielding. HSE Swiss Audio RL-7 offers THD 0.0007% and RIAA accuracy +/- 0.05 dB.

Each unit undergoes a two-week continuous test, during which it is warmed up to achieve the best sound quality. Impedance selector (10 .. 2,530 kΩ & 47 kΩ, 256 position) optimized for industry-leading cartridges from Benz, Lyra, etc.
