Pro-Ject Speaker Box 10 E Carbon and 12 E Carbon – laconic floorstanding speakers

The Austrian company Pro-Ject has expanded its range of acoustics, adding two slender floor-standing speakers to the lineup - Pro-Ject Speaker Box 10 E Carbon and 12 E Carbon.

The Pro-Ject Speaker Box 12 E Carbon loudspeakers are made in a 2.5-way configuration and are equipped with a 1” silk dome tweeter, which works with two low-frequency speakers with diffusers made of carbon composite material with a diameter of 16.5 cm. The woofers work in a phase-inverted design with a port located on the rear wall of the cabinet.

The frequency response of the Pro-Ject Speaker Box 12 E Carbon loudspeakers is from 42 Hz to 20 kHz. The nominal impedance is 4 Ohms with a sensitivity of 89 dB. The crossover is made on discrete elements and provides a flat frequency response. The manufacturer recommends using speakers with amplifiers with a power of 20 to 200 watts. Pro-Ject Speaker Box 12 E Carbon are available in walnut veneer finish, as well as in various matte finishes, including Satin Black, Satin White, Satin Green, Satin Blue and Satin Yellow. All models in the line have the same tweeters - 1-inch with a silk dome. Pro-Ject Speaker Box 10 E Carbon are designed as a 2.5-way system operating in a bass reflex design with a port on the rear wall of the case. Pro-Ject Speaker Box 10 E Carbon operates in the frequency response from 48 Hz to 20 kHz, the nominal impedance of the speakers is 4 Ohms with a sensitivity of 87 dB. The manufacturer recommends using speakers with amplifiers with a power of 10 to 150 W.
