Created by Darren Myers and named after the company's co-founder Paul McGowan, the PMG Signature Preamplifier rethinks not only the circuit design to achieve reference sound, but also has a very interesting design (rounded milled aluminum front panel, capacitive touch screen).

The PS Audio PMG Signature Preamplifier is based on a two-section architecture that separates the power and control circuits from the analog signal path. The path itself is balanced with zero feedback and Diamond buffers operating in pure Class A. The amplification stages use a hybrid topology combining FET transistors with BJTs. The power supply is built on film capacitors instead of electrolytics. The PS Audio PMG Signature preamplifier is available for sale at prices of $8,499 or €9,995.
