VAF DC 2S Speakers Accumulate All the Experience of the Company

VAF Research – has released the VAF DC 2S bookshelf loudspeakers – with a relatively affordable retail price of 1,699 Australian dollars, the model accumulates many years of experience of the company (founded in 1978) in audio and offers a sophisticated sound. Each pair of speakers is hand-assembled in Adelaide.

The speakers operate in the range of 50Hz ~ 21kHz +/- 3dB, have a sensitivity of 86 dB and an impedance of 4 ohms. The power reaches 100 watts. Each speaker weighs 5.75 kg. The VAF DC2S use a 130mm natural fibre midrange/bass driver mounted on a ventilated aluminium frame with low-damping rubber suspension and a linear suspension system.

The tweeter with a dual concentric diaphragm and phase plug ensures a wide directivity. Traditionally for the company, the drivers are phase-aligned using a 30mm thick front baffle, which ensures phase linearity.

Each pair of VAF DC2S speakers is finished in wood veneer - you can choose from Natural Oak, Black Oak, Jarrah-Coloured Oak and Brown Oak). The production time for loudspeakers after ordering is approximately 12 weeks (due to the completely handmade production process).
