Mola Mola has released the Mola Mola Ossetra mono power amplifier. Housed in a compact case, the 7 kg model will be available in December 2025 for €8,990. The amplifier's output impedance is less than 0.002 ohms, resulting in a damping factor exceeding 4000!

The Mola Mola Ossetra is based on D's proprietary Trajectum circuitry and delivers 350 watts into 8-ohm speakers, ensuring reference control of even complex speakers (power increases to 700 watts into 4 ohms and 900 watts into 2 ohms).

Using a discrete Class D design, part of the gain is transferred to the Class A stages and coupled with a bridged output and a wide-bandwidth feedback loop. This approach preserves the high power and compact size of Class D while reducing the noise and distortion inherent in such solutions. The model's signal-to-noise ratio is 130 dB, distortion is less than 0.003% across the entire frequency range, and the bandwidth exceeds 100,000 Hz.

The new power supply exceeds standard EMI requirements, reduces noise, and improves both dynamic and long-term output. Power. The Mola Mola Ossetra features a full-bridge output stage topology, maintaining a balanced path from input to output.

The input stage is normally used without capacitors, but at high signal levels, a capacitor is automatically added to accommodate third-party preamplifiers. The Mola Mola Ossetra also uses new shunt voltage regulators.
